Sydney indie-pop act New Navy will hit Wollongong in December, as part of their ‘Uluwatu’ EP tour.

The band have announced plans to play The Patch on December 2nd, to launch their debut EP; you’ve probably heard the EP’s lead single, ‘Zimbabwe,’ on Triple J (listen below, you’ll know it).

New Navy recently played the Triple J Unearthed radio launch party in Sydney, the Musica/Tumbalong festival alongside SBTRKT and Ghostpoet, signed with Future Classic records, and have had ‘Zimbabwe’ included on the prestigious compilation album assembled by French electro label Kitsune Maison.

With a sound between Foals, Two Door Cinema Club and Friendly Fires, New Navy are in prime position to be the next big thing in Australian indie-pop. Make sure to catch them when they’re in our neck of the woods. Tickets are available now, through Bigtix.
