Here’s a big one; Sydney indie-pop boys FAKER have been in relative hibernation in recent times, but with the announcement that a slew of new material is on the way, the band have announced their most extensive Aussie tour in ages!
They’ve announced a new album – ‘Get Loved’ – and a “prequel EP” – titled ‘How Did We Not Get Loved?’ – to be unleashed in coming months, and to support the release of the EP, they’ll be tearing around the country in October and November on a run of very intimate gigs, including a stop in at The Patch on November 5.
Faker have established themselves as one of Australia’s hardest working and most successful bands in recent years, so to have them playing in Wollongong – and at such a small venue – really is a big coup. Tickets are on sale now via Oztix.
Also, see below for a brand new track from Faker, titled ‘Back When Solvents.’
