Rewind Festival, second lineup announcement

Everyone seems to be outrageously keen for the inaugural Australian version of the UK-based Rewind Festival, to be held at Kembla Grange from October 28-30.

Our announcement of the lineup (click here to see the article) has become the most popular post in Radar’s short history, and why not? It’s one of the first major music festivals in Wollongong’s history, attracting a crazy number of nostalgia-inducing acts from The Human League to Kool and the Gang and Bananarama.

Now, with the festival drawing nearer, Rewind Festival have released the next batch of acts to feature on the lineup. Right Said Fred, The Straits (formerly Dire Straits), Cutting Crew, T’pau, The Real Thing, and Candi Staton will play the three-day festival, and organisers have said that they’re not quite finished adding to the already strong lineup.

On the Rewind Festival Facebook page, organisers have said “one more main act to follow in the next week”, and “We have one more to sign… then we have the Australian artists to announce.”

Keep an eye on the new festival website and official Facebook page – and, of course, right here at Radar -for more info on the festival!
