Mother and Son; European tour + playing Oxford Art Factory 4th birthday

Mother and Son are some of our favourite local dudes, and there’s kind of a shitload of news happening in their camp right now.
The guys are locking in details of a European tour later this year (more on that in the not-too-distant future) and they’re currently out on a fundraising mini-tour to help scrounge up enough moolah for their intercontinental adventures. The duo are playing Byron Bay tonight and Brisbane tomorrow.
In news a little closer to home, Mother and Son have also been confirmed as part of the Oxford Art Factory’s 4th birthday celebrations. If you’re somehow not aware of the OAF, it’s only the raddest venue in Sydney, and the guys are locked in to play alongside Deep Sea Arcade, Step-Panther and Betty Airs on September 23rd. Oh, and it’s FREE – so you should go along, use the money you saved on entry to drink plentiful beers, lose your shit to M&S, drink more beers, then stumble next door to QBar and whatever ridiculous party they have going that night. No word yet on a local farewell show before the big European jaunt, but fingers firmly crossed!
