TOUR NEWS: Confession, Antagonist A.D, Thy Art Is Murder

Local hardcore dudes; bust out your basketball shorts, start practising your siquest mosh moves, get angry at the world, and get psyched. ConfessionAntagonist A.D and Thy Art Is Murder are heading our way as part of a mosh-tastic, throwdown-friendly triple bill in October.

Confession, the latest musical output of Michael Crafter (of I Killed The Prom Queen, Bury Your Dead, Carpathian and brief Big Brother fame), will hit the road through October to promote their anticipated second LP, ‘The Long Way Home.’ Written in “The Parkway house” in Byron Bay, and recorded in a frosty, oh-so-metal Sweden, it follows up their 2009 debut, ‘Cancer.’

After a string of massive tours supporting the likes of Parkway Drive, A Day To Remember, Misery Signals and The Amity Affliction, as well as being part of the No Sleep Til festival in 2010, Confession will head the bill for a pretty extensive run of dates later this year, with a stop at the Unanderra Community Hall on October 20th. Warming up the stage for Confession’s br00tal mosh-metal, will be New Zealand hardcore band Antagonist A.D, and Sydney dudes Thy Art Is Murder.

Radar was pretty damn impressed with Confession’s last local show, supporting Parkway Drive and Miss May I at the WIN Entertainment Centre a few months back (click here for our review of the show); with Confession now in a headline slot, you can bet they’ll be fired up and ready to tear the house down.

Tickets available through Moshtix.
