TONIGHT: SLOW WAVES FINAL SHOW

Unless you’ve been curled up in a ball under your bed for the last few years, if you’re a fan of local live music, chances are that you’ve come across Slow Waves.

The three-piece, formerly known as Paper Moon, have been Wollongong’s premier purveyors of early blues and rock’n’roll for several years now, playing shows and winning fans across the country.

Sadly, tonight marks what may be the final chapter in the Slow Waves story; following tonight’s show at the Otis Bar, the band have announced that they will be going on an “indefinite hiatus.”

Make sure you get along to the Otis Bar show, for what will be your last chance (for a long while, at least) to check out one of the region’s finest bands. Support comes from local singer-songwriter, Nothing Rhymes With David. Doors are at 8pm. Remind or acquaint yourself with the band by checking out a few tracks below.
