UPDATE: scheduled shows at Harp Hotel (Tonight Alive/Skyway, Ghostwood/CWLG)

As we reported on Monday, a change in ownership for the Harp Hotel has led to the cancellation of all further gigs. There had been no word, however, on arrangements or details on the few shows previously scheduled to happen at the Harp; namely, the Tonight Alive gig on July 13th, and the Ghostwood/Chicks Who Love Guns show on June 30th.

Today, Various Industries have posted an update that both shows will be moved to the very awesome Rydges CBD Bar. Dates, times, ticket prices and lineups will stay exactly the same for both gigs. However, with the CBD Bar having a much smaller capacity than the Harp, there will be less tickets available for both gigs.

Previously purchased tickets will be valid at the new venue.

Various also commented further on the reason for the sudden shift in priorities for the venue:

“A recent change in ownership at Harp has lead to a move away from live music at the venue,” they posted in a Facebook update.

“This not only includes the shows we were running on Wednesday and Thursday nights but also the cover bands that used to play on a Sunday night.”
