It’s been coming for a while, but sad news today as Wollongong indie punk four-piece God Rest The Good Doctor announced one final show.

The band have been on indefinite hiatus since early this year; but with frontman Sam Clayton planning to move overseas, and other members involved with separate projects, God Rest have decided to formally call it quits.

Going out in style with a show at the uber-rad MUM band night at Sydney’s World Bar on April 15th, the local scene will be just that little bit less bright for the loss of their table jumping, windmilling, dirty¬†dancing live sets. Check out more details of God Rest The Good Doctor’s final show here.

In the meantime, check out Sam’s new project Siprioca (and Radar’s artist profile), and guitarist Jack Reilly’s solo venture.
